Petition Assemblywoman Lampitt to Move A6100 forward!
Petition Assemblywoman Lampitt to Move A6100, the AAPI Curriculum Bill forward!

I am writing to strongly request that Assemblywoman Lampitt put A6100, the AAPI curriculum bill, on the agenda for the next Assembly Education Committee meeting on December 9th. I am aware that it is not on the agenda currently. The companion Senate bill S4021 was just passed on 12/2. I believe this bill is urgently needed to protect Asian American children and families in NJ by fighting anti-Asian racism and violence through education. Please make an exception to include bill A6100 in your next meeting."

We need to unite Asian communities across America to demand Asian American history and studies be included to combat Asian Hate. We must attack and eradicate the problem from the root!
People are not born to hate. Suppose we watch kids in kindergarten. Hate is taught and learned through pop culture, social media, and anti-Asian propaganda. Suppose hate is learned due to ignorance and misinformation, then we must change and transform our education system, fostering racial bias and hatred. To start from our elementary curriculum is a great beginning.
