STOP THE BLAME! STOP THE AAPI HATE!

  Dear all Fellow Asian Americans,   Just last week, Seattle’s Wing Luke Museum — a local and national treasure that exhibits Asian, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific American art, culture, and history — was  vandalized  by a man with a sledgehammer who said that “the Chinese ruined [his] life.” The vandal’s racist remarks mirror the words and actions of a growing number of politicians who are using rising tensions between the U.S. and Chinese governments as an excuse to justify racism and discrimination against innocent Asian people in America.     This is called anti-Asian scapegoating. It presents an enormous threat to our personal safety and our constitutional rights. That’s why today,  Stop AAPI Hate is launching  Stop The Blame , a national campaign dedicated to ending anti-Asian scapegoating.     Created in partnership with Chinese for Affirmative Action (CAA), the campaign will mobilize Asians in America and allies nationwide to hold political leaders accountable for promoting harmf

    Committee of 100 Next Generation Leaders Program: 2024 Application Now Open for Submission   New York, NY (September 13, 2023) –  Committee of 100, a non-profit organization of prominent Chinese Americans, announced that applications are now being accepted for the 2024 Next Generation Leaders (NGL) class. The 2024 NGL class will be announced and spotlighted at Committee of 100’s 2022 Conference and Gala, which will take in April 2024.  Launched in 2014, the Committee of 100’s NGL program convenes an exceptional group of change-makers and rising leaders from diverse sectors, leveraging a collective sense of service and purpose to elevate the impact of each individual.
