Dear friends, This week, AAPI Victory Alliance launched its 2024 AAPI Em-Powered Endorsement Program, designed to bolster AAPI community influence by endorsing candidates at local, state legislative, and statewide levels in pivotal states and competitive districts. At an inflection point in the 2024 election cycle — with issues such as reproductive rights, gun safety legislation, and climate justice initiatives gaining prominence — The Alliance’s Em-Powered Endorsement Program was created to support candidates striving to enact positive change in their communities. We’re thrilled to kick off another year of our endorsement program! Here at The Alliance, we recognize that true community strength is built locally, which is why we’re focused on uplifting and supporting candidates running at local, state legislative, and statewide levels in key states, competitive districts, and areas with a high concentration of AAPIs. With our eyes on pivotal elections across the country, our endorsement program is one of our highest priorities. Let’s use our community’s growing societal, political and electoral power to rally behind candidates who reflect our values. We encourage passionate individuals to step forward and apply to be part of our program because as we know, every voice and effort counts in building a more inclusive and equitable society.
