Community Partner Shoutout As we celebrate APAHM, we would also like to recognize that May is also Mental Health Awareness Month! Our community has gone through a tremendous number of challenges within the past couple of years, and we'd like to highlight the incredible work of Asian Pacific Development Center and Asian Mental Health Collective. We would like to congratulate Asian Pacific Development Center in Colorado on their recent integration with Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) to enhance and expand their services for the Asian American, immigrant, and refugee communities! Asian Mental Health Collective's mission is to destigmatize and normalize mental health within the Asian community with goals to make mental healthcare accessible, approachable, and readily available to communities across the country. They provide a multitude of trainings, resources, a therapist directory, support groups, seminars, and more! |
