GACAPAA] Jun. 21st, Free, Musical Summer Solstice Night with LSO

For the first time for our Commission (PA GACAPAA), we are proud to co-host a summer treat to the community, a FREE concert at the Kimmel Center, Philadelphia, presented by Pennsylvania’s pride, the Grammy nominated Lansdowne Symphony Orchestra, one of the oldest community orchestras in Pennsylvania, on Tuesday, June 21st, at 7:30 pm.

Please find the two flyers attached and more info below, and feel free to share with your families, friends and network.

Lansdowne Symphony Orchestra (LSO) — Founded in 1946 in Lansdowne, is one of the oldest community orchestras in Pennsylvania, with 75+ talented member musicians who come from many walks of life.

In celebration of the LSO‘s 75th Anniversary, we are thrilled to feature an Asian Pacific American pride, Debra Lew Harder performing Gershwin’s Piano Concerto in F.

Debra Lew Harder — Pianist, former host on WRTI-FM, now the first Asian American to host The Metropolitan Opera’s live broadcasts, and only the 5th person to host The Metropolitan Opera since 1931.
